MINISTER SIDI TIEMOKO MAKES ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY’S WORKERS AWARE AND RESPECTFUL OF CIVIC VALUES

As part of the promotion of civic values initiated by the Ministry of the Promotion of the Youth, Youth Employment and civic Services Mr Sidi Tiemoko TOURE Responsible for the Department presided on Monday 6th November 2017, over to official ceremony of salute to the colours on the esplanade of the Abidjan Port Authority’s Headquarters.

On this occasion, the Minister stated that his department is organizing a ceremony in honour of the National Flag every first Monday of the month in one public institution or body. For the month of November, Abidjan Port Authority has been selected to make all the stakeholders in the port industry aware of the foundation of the Ivorian citizenship.

Let’s note that the salute to the colours took place in the presence of the Director General of the Maritime and Port Affairs, Major Colonel TANOH Bertin, representing the Minister of Transport; Mr NGBALA Kouassi Technical Adviser representing the Managing Director of Abidjan Port Authority; the armed forces intervening in the Abidjan Port (Gendarmerie, Police, Customs, National Navy, firemen); members of the Management Committee and all the port’s workers who came in large number to attend the event.
