THE MANAGING DIRECTOR OF PAA HOLDS DISCUSSIONS WITH A DELEGATION FROM ABIDJAN TERMINAL

The President of the Abidjan Port Community (CPA) and Managing Director of the Abidjan Port Authority (PAA), Mr. Kassoum TRAORÉ, received in audience, on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, a delegation from Abidjan Terminal led by its Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Édouard ANCELY.

This meeting forms part of the ongoing consultations initiated by the Managing Director of PAA with the main stakeholders of the Abidjan Port Community since taking office, within a framework of continuous dialogue and strengthened port governance.

The discussions focused on the major operational challenges facing the port platform, as well as on the measures to be implemented in order to sustainably improve the performance and competitiveness of the Port of Abidjan. Both parties also exchanged views on prospects for strengthening their collaboration in order to optimize the fluidity of operations and enhance the quality of services provided to users.

Through this meeting, the Abidjan Port Authority and Abidjan Terminal reaffirmed their shared commitment to maintaining constructive dialogue and consolidating their partnership in support of the influence of the Port of Abidjan and its ambition to remain the leading port in West Africa.
