THE PORT AUTHORITY RECEIVES A DELEGATION FROM THE BURKINABE SHIPPING COUNCIL [CONSEIL BURKINABÉ DES CHARGEURS (CBC)].

Present in Abidjan for the 9TH Summit Conference of the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation (TFC)1 between Côte d'Ivoire and Burkina Faso, a delegation of the Burkinabe Shipping Council (BSC)2 led by its Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Al Hassan SIENOU, was received by the Managing Director of Abidjan Port Authority, Mr. Hien Yacouba SIÉ, on Wednesday July 28th, 2021.
According to Mr. SIENOU, this courtesy visit to the Port Authority is intended to strengthen the cooperation between Burkinabe shippers and the Port of Abidjan. To this end, he requested the support of the Port Authority with purpose to implement several projects initiated by the (BSC)2.
Mr. Hien Yacouba SIÉ took this opportunity to present the investments made by the Ivorian government in order to offer a modern port platform adapted to the customers’ needs, including the Burkinabe Shipping Council. At the end of the discussions, the two parties undertook to work harder for a mutually beneficial collaboration.
