Meeting with the Union of Shipping Agents and Ship owners of Côte d’Ivoire (UCACI)

The Managing Director of the Abidjan Port Authority, Mr. Hien Yacouba SIE had a talk on this Wednesday 17 November 2021 with a delegation of the union of shipping agents and ship owners of Côte d’Ivoire (UCACI) led by its president, Mr. Mamadou DOSSO.

That meeting aimed to make the Port Authority know about the difficulties shipping agents and ship owners face as part of their operations at the Abidjan Port. To this end, a particular emphasis was put upon difficulties related to container handling.

In response to his interlocutors, Mr. Hien Yacouba SIE stressed on the interest he granted to the resolution of these problems. He promised the representatives of UCACI to gather very soon all the business actors involved in the management of containers at the Abidjan Port to examine the problems presented and solve them durably.
