MARINE AGENTS OF THE ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY TAKE OATH

A swearing-in ceremony for 75 marine agents of the Abidjan Port Authority (PAA), 73 of whom were actually present, took place on 11 May 2022 at the Palais de Justice in Abidjan-Plateau.

By accepting the conditions of the oath they took before the Court of Justice composed of a president and a public prosecutor of the Court of Abidjan-Plateau, these candidates (5 port officers, 7 pilots, 8 assistant port officers, 1 port master, 7 pilot mechanics and 47 port supervisors), who carry out public service activities of an administrative, economic, social, security and judicial nature, will henceforth act as sworn judicial police officers who can record, by means of reports, infringements of the general regulations relating to the maritime sector.

After accepting their oath, they were congratulated and given sound advice by the representatives of the law in order to carry out their duties in strict compliance with legality, probity, professionalism and for the general interest.
