PARTICIPATION OF ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORY TO THE SIXTH EDITION OF BLOOMFIELD COUNTRY RISK CONFERENCE IN COTE D’IVOIRE
Bloomfield Investment Corporation, a financial rating agency, organized on Thursday June 2, 2022 at Sofitel Hotel Ivoire, Abidjan, the Country Risk Conference- Cote D’ivoire.
This 6th edition which gathered executives of the public and private sectors, heads of companies and political officials of the country aimed at discussing on the economic potential of the country.
Mr SIE Hien Yacouba , Managing Director of Abidjan Port Authority (PAA) took part in the opening panel of the conference on <<the major projects of the Ivorian economic recovery>>
In his address, Mr SIE Hien firstly underlined the weight of Abidjan Port in the Ivorian economy before making a presentation of the major modernization projects in implementation so as to make the Abidjan Port platform, a competitive HUB Port which will contribute to the growth of the Ivorian economy and that of the sub regional countries .
He also indicated that these projects which were launched since 2012 are in their completion phase with the second container terminal which will be delivered in the last quarter of 2022. All these development actions of the Port Authority will contribute to the recovery of the national economy after the covid-19 world health crisis.
The Bloomfield country-risk conferences allow for an evaluation and a production of a country risk report of a given country by highlighting its assets, its opportunities, and its fields of development so as to give a better visibility to development investors and partners
Its should be noted that Abidjan Port Authority, through its good performances, has been granted by the rating agency a short term rating of A1- and a long term rating of AA- with stable prospects for 2021.
