A CLEAN-UP CAMPAINGN DAY AT THE ABIDJAN PORT’s FISHING TERMINAL

On Friday 5 August 2022, a clean-up operation took place, on the mole of Abidjan Port’s Fishing Terminal under the supervision of Mr OUATTARA Bamoussa, Director of the Fishing Terminal. Before the symbolic launching of the operation, Mr OUATTARA Bamoussa explained that the campaign was part of the implementation of the environmental policy of Abidjan Port Authority. He, therefore, urged all the operators to be committed to the cleanliness of their work premises, so as to ensure the cleanliness of the Fishing Terminal in particular, and the port platform as a whole. He concluded his address and launched the operation which gathered many operators as follows : workers of the Fishing Terminal who are involved in the industry, the Abidjan port’s special police, the Direction of Maritime Operation (DOMSE) and the Directorate General of Maritime and Port Affairs (DGAMP).

Let’s recall that the environmental ISO 14001/2015 certificate was granted by AFAQ AFNOR to Abidjan Port for its actions in favour of the environment.
