ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY RECORDED 3.8% GROWTH IN 2017

Abidjan Port Authority started its news marketing season on Monday 26 February 2018 in the presence of Mr. SORO Benjamin, Principal Private Secretary representing Mr. Amadou KONE, Minister of Transport, Chairman of the ceremony.

In his assessment of the state of the company for the year 2017, Mr. Hien SIE Yacouba stated that the Port met it objectives. The total throughput increased by 3.8% with 22 557 000 tons as against 21 734 640 tons in 2016.

This achievement which reinforces the leading position of Abidjan Port on the West African Coast is an indication of its dynamism and confirms how the customers, namely the shippers from Burkina Faso and Mali find the port  attractive
