2018 YEAR BEST WISHES TO THE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT

A delegation of Abidjan Port Authority including Mr. Hien Yacouba SIE, Managing Director, and led by Mr. Kante KOLY, Chairman of the Board attended the New Year Greeting Ceremony organized by whole family of the Transport for Minister Amadou KONE. The ceremony took place on Tuesday 16 January 2018 at the headquarters of “Confederation Générale des Entreprises de Côte d’Ivoire” (CGCI) located in plateau.

During the gathering the Minister congratulated Ivorian Ports for their performance at the end of 2017, precisely 1.5% growth for San Pedro Port and 3% Growth for Abidjan Port.

Moreover, after having expressed his delight at the good performances achieved by companies under the supervision of his Ministry, Mr. Amadou KONE made a presentation of the prospects for the coming year.

As regards the Port and Maritime Industry, priority should be given to ongoing projects so as to enable, Ivoirian ports to become outstanding Hubs on the West Atlantic Coast of Africa by 2020
