Vridi Canal inaugurated in 2018

It is one of the major information given by the Managing Director of Abidjan Port Authority to the staff members as a whole gathered around him on Friday 05th January in Abidjan Seamen’s Club on the Occasion of the traditional ceremony of New Year’s Greetings

It was the best occasion chosen by the Top Executive of Abidjan Port Authority not only to spend a moment of sharing but also of thinking with all the staff in order to take a stock of the previous year and to give general orientations for the year 2018.

A year marked by major achievement with an estimated growth of 1.5% in goods traffic as compared to the previous year.

Mr Hien SIE Yacouba in his address urged all the port stakeholders to mobilize for a stronger, more dynamic and prosperous Abidjan Port in the service of an emerging Côte d’Ivoire.

 It is worth noting that this New Year’s Greetings ceremony took place in the presence of Colonel Major Pierre Alphonse, Director General of the Ivorian Customs of members of Abidjan Port Community, and the Company’s Staff gathered on this occasion
