On Thursday 18 May 2017 at 13h45mn, a RORO ship, during berthing maneuver, crashed into quay #21 at the Container Terminal ,thus overturning a stationary gantry on the side

No casualty has been reported. However, material damage has been recorded. A security area has been delimited.

The Port Authority reassured port users that the container terminal is operating normally
