ABIDJAN PORT FITTED OUT WITH AXLE SCALES

On Tuesday 11 April 2017, at Quay #8 of Abidjan Port, Mr Issa KONE, Managing Director o “INTERPESAGE” officially installed axle scales. These new equipments are set up in compliance with the provisions aimed at implementing, since 1st April 2017, UEMOA Regulation #14 which recommends the harmonization of standards and control procedures of the loading gauge, the weight and the axle load of heavy goods vehicles throughout the member states of West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA), in Ghana and Guinea (Conakry). This ceremony took place in the presence of Abidjan Port Authorities, the officers of “Fond d’Entretien Routier” (FER) and those of “Interpesage” (The company promoting axle scale) and many other operators.
