AFRICAN INTEGRATION: PAA SUPPORTS AN ACADEMIC INITIATIVE

An international and transdisciplinary colloquium on African integration will be held from 18 to 21 October 2022, at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Foundation in Yamoussoukro on the theme, African Integration: from the Vision of the Fathers of Independence to the Actuality of a Project.

Organized jointly by the Department of Philosophy of the University Félix Houphouët-Boigny, the University Institute Saint Jean-Paul II of Yamoussoukro, the Ivorian Association of Philosophy Professors and the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Foundation for Peace Research of Yamoussoukro, This meeting will register the participation of a hundred academics from 12 African and European countries who will share their experiences and knowledge in order to contribute to the construction of an African integration based on the vision of the first President of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, HEM. As a prelude to this event, the Organizing Committee led by its chairman, Professor Thierry ÉZOUA, was received on Wednesday 12 October 2022, by the Managing Director of the Abidjan Port Authority.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Hien Yacouba SIÉ gave the assurance that the PAA will accompany this beautiful intellectual initiative which aims at promoting African integration as a factor of economic development and cultural mixing.
