THE ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY AT THE 10th EDITION OF THE CGECI ACADEMY
The Abidjan Port Authority participated in the 10th edition of the General Confederation of Enterprises of Côte d’Ivoire (CGECI ACADEMY) coupled with the 2nd edition of the Forum of the Alliance of Francophone Employers (APF) called "Meeting of Francophone Entrepreneurs (REF2)". This double event which is organized by the CGECI, was held from 27 to 28 October 2022 at the Sofitel Hotel Ivoire in Abidjan under the theme, "What Partnerships to Enhance the Potential of Businesses in Africa? "
The PAA participated in several panels as a privileged partner and also hosted an exhibition stand to make discover the important economic pole of Côte d'Ivoire that it is.
It is the Vice President of the Republic, HEM. Tiémoko Meyliet KONE who proceeded to the opening of the works in the presence of many personalities, among which, several members of the government, the Secretary General of the International Organization of Francophonie (OIF), Mrs. Louise MUSHIKIWABO, the President of the APF, Mr. Geoffroy Roux DE BÉZIEUX and several personalities of international renown.
This double event recorded the participation of more than 200 members of APF from 30 countries of the French-speaking world, more than 300 leaders of large companies and young entrepreneurs. They will take part in this important forum of exchange between experts to promote networking opportunities.
The event was placed under the sign of maturity and sustainable recovery. These days of exchange were marked by conferences, panels, round tables, a multi-sector exhibition with a global audience and a competition of young entrepreneurs called the "Business Plan Competition" to detect young talent and encourage young entrepreneurship to prepare the champions of tomorrow.
