LEO LITHIUM GROUP SELECTS ABIDJAN PORT FOR THE ORE EXPORT
LEO LITHIUM, the Malian Company in charge of operating the Goulamina’s mining project in the south of Mali selected Abidjan port as the main gateway for the export of its ores through the port bulk Terminal.
It is in this context that a delegation of this company on mission in Côte d’Ivoire was granted an audience by Mr. Hien Yacouba SIE, Managing Director of Abidjan Port Authority.
The delegation was led by Mr Antony ARCIDIACO, Director General of Abidjan Bulk Terminal (TVA).
During the meeting, Mr. Seydou SEMEGA, Director for West Africa for the Mining Group stated that the visit was aimed not only at presenting his compliments to the Port Authority but also at making a presentation of the Mining Group and the project.
To that extent, He precised that the Goulamina project will be operational in 2023 with an export potential of 800 000 tons per year over a period exceeding 20 years.
Mr. Hien Yacouba SIE expressed his appreciation for this approach and his satisfaction for the choice of Abidjan Port on the West African coast by the Mining Company. He said that, his institution not only, is wiling to provide his users with a modern and a well-equipped platform but also to support any project aiming at increasing Abidjan Port’s traffic.
