WORKING VISIT OF A CANADIAN MILITARY DELEGATION TO ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY

A Canadian delegation led by Colonel Rick Thompson, the Military Attaché of Canada in West Africa was received on Tuesday the 7th of February 2017 by Mr. N’Gbala Etienne, Technical Advisor representing Mr. Hien Yacouba SIE, the Managing Director. The meeting which is part of the near future project for the setting up of military operational support centers in the West African region. Therefore, the Canadian delegation wanted to be ensured of the Abidjan Port’s capacity to receive such military missions, but also to search for land spaces where to set up ideally in port and airport access zones. Mr. N’Gbala ensured that the Abidjan Port has the operational capacity to handle such military operations. The Canadian delegation satisfied with the exchange reaffirmed the willingness to cooperate with Abidjan Port in the near future.
