EDHEC STUDENTS DISCOVER THE ABIDJAN PORT

Ninety (90) students from EDHEC (a French business and management school), mainly executives and company managers training for the Global Executive MBA, visited the Abidjan Port on 18 January 2023 as part of a study tour organized in collaboration with the Business France Office in Abidjan and the French Embassy.

The delegation was received by the Managing Director of the Abidjan Port Authority (PAA), Mr. Hien Yacouba SIÉ.

According to the organizers, the aim of this visit is to allow the students to better understand the world of economy and business by getting closer to some companies that are models of success in terms of management.

Before visiting the port facilities, specifically the two container terminals, the Roro terminal, the fishing terminal and the ore terminal, the PAA guests were given a presentation on the modern infrastructures built at the Abidjan Port and those in progress or still at the project stage.

The exchanges with the Managing Director gave them a clearer idea of the assets and development prospects of the Abidjan Port.
