A DELEGATION FROM THE CATHOLIC MILITARY CHAPLAINCY OF CÔTE D'IVOIRE VISITS THE ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY

The Catholic Church in Côte d'Ivoire has a military chaplaincy. This Wednesday, 1 March 2023, a delegation of this important religious service, led by Reverend Father KONE Norbert, the new National Chaplain, was received by the Commercial, Marketing and Communication Director of the Abidjan Port Authority, Doctor Titi PALÉ, representing the Managing Director, Mr. Hien Yacouba SIÉ.

During the exchanges, Father KONE presented the missions of the military chaplaincy in Côte d'Ivoire and its activities. He took the opportunity to ask for the support and accompaniment of the Abidjan Port Authority in the implementation of the program of actions (pastoral seasons, pilgrimages at national level and to Lourdes, closing activities of the pastoral year, etc.).

"The Abidjan Port Authority is happy to receive you today. The Managing Director will see to what extent he can support your actions, " said Dr Titi Pale.

It should be noted that the mission of the military chaplaincy of Côte d'Ivoire is to work for the spiritual and moral accompaniment of the military, gendarmes, police officers, customs officers, water and forestry agents and the maritime and port police, in all areas of their lives as well as their preparation for the various sacraments of the Catholic Church.
