CMA-CGM GROUP INTENDS TO INCREASE ITS ACTIVITIES IN ABIDJAN PORT

A delegation of CMA-CGM group led by Mr. Stephane COURQUIN, Vice Chairman Africa Line, paid a courtesy call to Mr. Hien Yacouba SIE, Managing Director of Abidjan Port Authority.

The meeting, not only was an opportunity for Mr. COURQUIN to reiterate the willingness of his group to further develop its activities in Abidjan Port and contribute to make it a Hub Port as regards transhipment on the African continent, but also to get the support of the Abidjan Port Authority

Expressing his appreciation for the initiative of the visit, the top Manager of Abidjan Port Authority reassured his guest of the availability of his institution to make all endeavours to remove the possible obstacles to the development of the activities of CMA-CGM, as he would do the same for all the parties involved in the development of Abidjan Port.

CMA-CGM Group which is the third shipowner for containership is present in Côte d’Ivoire through agencies operating in Abidjan and San Pedro where it operates as consignee, cargo, carrier stevedoring company for the handling of transhipment traffic.
