THE AMBASSADOR OF COTE D’IVOIRE TO AUSTRIA RECEIVED BY THE ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY

On Monday 24 April 2023, the new Ambassador of Côte d’Ivoire to Austria, Yacouba CISSE paid a courtesy call to Mr. Hien Yacouba SIE, Managing Director of Abidjan Port Authority.

The meeting was the opportunity for the diplomat to recall the commitment of the Ivorian government to make eco-diplomacy a strategical instrument of economic development and wealth generation in Côte d’Ivoire.

It is in this perspective that, before taking up his assignment in Vienna, he made a point of soaking up different sectors of activity with high economic impact such as Abidjan Port. He therefore expressed the desire to become fully involved in order to arouse the interest of Austrian investors in the development and upgrading projects of the first Ivorian Port.
