THE NEW DIRECTOR GENERAL OF FOREIGN TRADE RECEIVED IN AUDIENCE BY THE PORT AUTHORITY

Mr Kalilou SYLLA, new Director General of Foreign Trade was received by Mr TOURE ZOUMANA, Director of Port Estate and Property of Abidjan Port Authority (PAA) on 11 July 2023 at the Headquarters of the port. Mr Kalilou SYLLA came to present his compliments to Mr Hien Yacouba SIÉ, his counterpart of Abidjan Port Authority.

He seized the opportunity of the meeting to invite Abidjan Port Authority to attend a major event organized by the Ministry in charge of Trade, Industry and Promotion of SMEs, which event named “Hub Import- Export” was to take place in the near future in Côte d’Ivoire. It will be a framework of exchange and synergy for an alignment between the training provisions on the needs of the foreign trade’s players.

The new Director General of Foreign Trade justified his presence with respect to the importance of Abidjan Port in the chain of foreign trade. Mr TOURE Zoumana expressed, on behalf of the Managing Director, the readiness of PAA to contribute to the revitalization of foreign trade for the Ivorian economic influence.
