A DELEGATION FROM THE SISAG GROUP WAS GRANTED AN AUDIENCE BY THE PORT AUTHORITY

On Tuesday 28 November 2023, the Managing Director of the Abidjan Port Authority (PAA), Mr. Hien Yacouba SIÉ, granted an audience to a delegation from the Société Ivoiro Suisse Abidjanaise de Granit (SISAG), led by its Director- General, Mr. Olivier RICARD.

Olivier Ricard, who has been at the helm of the SISAG since May 2022, said it was important for him to come and pay his respects to the Port Authority. He took the opportunity to review his group's activities in Côte d'Ivoire and present the major investments made to increase its production capacity, which now stands at three million tonnes per year.

Mr. Ricard also expressed his wish to establish a commercial relationship between his company and PAA as part of the development of the port's infrastructure.

For his part, Mr. Hien Yacouba SIÉ welcomed the new dynamism of SISAG, which has been present in Côte d'Ivoire for more than 40 years. He also stated that PAA remained open to the idea of mutually beneficial cooperation.

It should be noted that the SISAG group specialises in the operation and development of quarries for the crushing of building and road construction materials.
