The workers of Abidjan Port Authority (PAA), just like the workers all over the world Commemorated on 1 May 2024, the Labor Day.

The celebration took place in the presence of Mr TOURE Zoumana, Director of Port Estate representing the Managing Director of Abidjan Port Authority, and Mrs BIDIA DUNCAN Monique Deputy Director, representing Mrs MEITE Salimata FOFANA, Director of Human Resources.

 As usual, the Secretary Generals of the three unions of the Company, MM. DAMO Jean (REAFPAA), SYLVANUS Kalou (SYLAPAA) and Cisse Mamadou Bacongo (SUTRAPAA) respectively seized the opportunity of the ceremony to submit grievances to the Port Authority in order to request better working and living conditions.

To address their concerns, the representative of the Human Resources Director ensured the social partners of good understanding and assured them that their grievances would be taken into account. Then, she recalled the achievements already obtained from the Top Management, before pointing out that many other measures would be implemented in the near future.

As for Mr TOURÉ Zoumana, he urged the workers to continue their efforts alongside the General Management so as to improve the business results, a guarantee of a balanced redistribution of profits.
