LAUNCHING OF THE CÔTE DIVOIRE - MISS MATHEMATICS WRITTEN COMPETITION TEST

Following the 18th edition of "Miss Mathematics" Competition on 06 March 2024, the written tests took place on Saturday 4 May 2024 at “Lycée Sainte Marie de Cocody” in Abidjan and “Lycée Mamie Adjoua” in Yamoussoukro.

 639 canditates in total took part in the competition, among which 417 junior level candidates and 221 high school senior class candidates with major in science and economics.

Mr Hilaire ATTINDEHOU, Chairman of the Miss Mathematics committee, seized the opportunity of the launching Ceremony which was held at Lycée Sainte Marie, to express his respect to Mr Hien Yacouba SIE Managing Director of Abidjan Port Authority and Sponsor of the 18th edition for his Commitment to the intellectual emancipation of Young girls in Côte d' Ivoire, which commitment led to the signing in 2023 of a five year partnership agreement between PAA and Côte d'Ivoire's Mathematical Society.

Mr Emmanuel VOHO SAHI, Deputy Commercial, Marketing and Communication Director expressed words of encouragement of the godfather to his godchildren.

Let's note that the award ceremony of the competition is planned for July 2024.
