CELEBRATION OF MOTHER'S DAY AND INVESTITURE OF THE PRESIDENT OF PAA’S WOMEN ASSOCIATION

It was in a festive atmosphere that the women of the Abidjan Port Authority (PAA) met on Friday 07 June 2024 at the CAISTAB in Plateau, for the celebration of Mother's Day and the investiture of the new president of the Amicale des Femmes du Port Autonome d'Abidjan (AFPAA), Mrs. DJÈ Konan Bernadette.

"Women in business" was the theme around which the ceremony was held. It was developed by Senator Mariam GABALA, married DAO, who urged the women of the PAA to take more initiatives.  According to her, a woman who ventures out is a source of innovation, change and transformation.

Representing Mrs. Nassénéba TOURÉ, the Minister for Women, the Family and the Child, patron of the event, Mr. Moussa DIARRASSOUBA, Director of Cabinet proceeded with the investiture of Mrs. DJÈ KONAN Bernadette, elected on 18 April 2024.

In her speech, the new president of AFPAA thanked the Managing Director of the PAA, Mr. Hien Yacouba SIÉ, the sector directors and the authorities present, for their contributions to that celebration. Mr. TOURÉ Zoumana, Director of the PAA's Estate and Assets, representing the Managing Director, congratulated all the women in the company for organising that wonderful celebration, and encouraged them to always celebrate "living together".
