THE SHIPOWNER PIL INTENDS TO INGREASE ITS ACTIVITIES IN ABIDJAN PORT
During a trip in Côte d'Ivoire as part of a working mission, Mr Lars KASTRUP, Director General of Pacific International Lines (PiL) Singapore, was granted an audience on Monday 09 September 2024, by Mr Hien Yacouba SIÉ Managing Director of Abidjan Port Authority (PAA).
The visit provided the opportunity for the Executive of the 12th world shipowner of Container ships to congratulate the Port Authority for the important infrastructure modernization works carried out over the last ten years at the Abidjan Port in order to meet the requirements of shipowners. This progress according to Mr. KASTRUP, Consolidates the willingness of his group to reinforce its position in Abidjan Port.
Seizing the opportunity of the meeting, both parties went through the activities of the Singaporian Company at the Abidjan Port, their cooperation and the development prospects of PiL's activities in Côte d'Ivoire.
As for the Managing Director of PAA, he expressed his gratitude to PiL Group for its consistency in Abidjan Port, before assuring his host of his availability to support the shipowner in its new development policy.
