VISIT OF THE NEW EGYPTIAN AMBASSADOR TO ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY: A STEP TOWARDS NEW COMMERCIAL ALLIANCES

The new Egyptian ambassador to Côte d'Ivoire, HE Sherif SEIF, paid a courtesy visit to the Managing Director of Abidjan Port Authority, on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.

This approach, according to the Egyptian diplomat, is part of a desire to strengthen economic cooperation between Egypt and Côte d'Ivoire, with projects aimed at boosting trade and strengthening cooperation relations between the two nations on the maritime level.

The highest diplomatic authority of Egypt in Côte d'Ivoire, highlighted during his visit, the potential for a strengthened partnership, which could include twinning initiatives between Abidjan Port and Egyptian ports.

Mr. Hien Yacouba SIÉ, surrounded by his colleagues, welcomed the Egyptian diplomat for this visit to Abidjan Port Authority, and indicated that these exchanges will pave the way for future fruitful collaborations between Abidjan Port and the ports of Egypt.

It should be noted that this meeting represents a significant step towards closer bilateral relations, promising new horizons for maritime trade between the two countries.
