LUXURY CRUISE SHIP “SEVEN SEAS VOYAGER” VISITS ABIDJAN PORT
Côte d’Ivoire as a tourist destination continues to attract boaters
The luxurious “Seven Seas Voyager,” operated by Regent Seven Seas Cruises, docked at Abidjan Port on Wednesday, November 20, 2 024.
Built in Italy and inaugurated in 2003, the vessel underwent renovations in 2010. It is 206.6 meters long, 28.8 meters wide, with a draft of 7.1 meters, and features 353 suites.
The ship made a one-day stopover with 651 passengers who had the opportunity to explore Côte d’Ivoire’s rich cultural and historical sites, including Treichville’s Artisanal Village, the Museum of Civilizations, Saint Paul’s Cathedral, and the Botanical Garden of Bingerville.
This visit underscores Abidjan Port’s growing role in promoting Côte d’Ivoire as a tourist destination and highlights its ability to accommodate large cruise ships.
His Excellency Mrs Jessica DAVIS BA, US Ambassador who was at Abidjan Port within the framework of a working meeting with the American Coast Guard seized the opportunity to visit the cruise ship.
