As part of a business prospecting mission to explore opportunities in Côte d’Ivoire, a delegation of Quebec-based companies, led by Mr. Jocelyn NÉRON, Export Advisor for Construction and Infrastructure at Investissement QUÉBEC International, was received on Friday, November 29, 2024, by Mr. Macky SANGARÉ, Digital Information Systems Director, representing Mr. Hien Yacouba SIÉ, the Managing Director of the Abidjan Port Authority.

Specialized in various sectors, including port development, logistics, telecommunications, transportation, mining, and energy production, the companies showcased their expertise and highlighted successful projects across Africa.

Through a presentation, Mr. MONI N’Guessan Hyacinthe, Deputy Director of Engineering and Project Management, highlighted the significant achievements of Abidjan Port over the past decade, the evolution of cargo traffic, and future development plans, including access to land reserves, the Vridi Canal tunnel project, and the expansion of barging operations.

On behalf of Mr. Hien Yacouba SIÉ, Mr. Macky SANGARÉ expressed enthusiasm for the interest shown by Quebec companies in Abidjan Port and reaffirmed the Port Authority’s willingness to explore potential partnership opportunities.
