A DELEGATION FROM LITHIUM GROUP OF MALI VISITS ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY

Lithium Group of Mali SA (LM SA), responsible for operating the Goulamina mining project in Bougouni, Mali, through its logistics entity GOULAMINA LOGISTIQUE, sent a delegation to Abidjan Port Authority. The delegation was received in audience on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, by the Managing Director, Mr. Hien Yacouba SIÉ.

Led by Ms. Myriam OUASSENAN, Managing Director of Abidjan Bulk Terminal, the delegation reaffirmed its intention to use Ivorian ports, particularly the Port of Abidjan, as a strategic hub for exporting its minerals.

Mr. BERTÉ Ibrahima, Manager of GOULAMINA LOGISTIQUE, took the opportunity to present the company’s ambitions and request support from the Port Authority for its upcoming export operations via Abidjan’s bulk terminal.

Mr. Hien SIÉ welcomed this initiative and expressed his satisfaction with the mining group’s interest in the Port of Abidjan. He reassured the delegation of the port’s ability to efficiently handle this traffic with modern and secure infrastructure, and thereby, be able to support the economic development of both Mali and Côte d’Ivoire.
