RAMADAN 2025: ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY MAKES A MAJOR DONATION TO AL-MUWASSAT NGO

In keeping with its social policy, the General Management of the Abidjan Port Authority (PAA) made its traditional donation for the month of Ramadan on Friday, March 7, 2025, to the Al-Muwassat NGO to support Muslim faithful during this period of fasting.

The ceremony took place at the NGO’s headquarters, located at the CHU Mosque in Treichville, in the presence of Mr. Macky SANGARÉ, Director of Digital Information Systems; Mr. Bamoussa OUATTARA, Director of Land and Property Management; and Mr. TRAORÉ Kassoum, Director of Logistics, all representing the Managing Director of  PAA, Mr. Hien Yacouba SIÉ.

This donation, consisting of food supplies, included one hundred (100) bags of rice, twenty-five (25) boxes of sugar, and twenty (20) boxes of milk. It was received by Imam El Hadj Haroun KONÉ, who is also the Chairman of the Board of the Al-Muwassat NGO.

The Port Authority’s representatives emphasized the importance of sharing and solidarity during this blessed month of Ramadan. They also conveyed the commitment of PAA’s Managing Director to supporting the most vulnerable during this time of spiritual repentance.

Expressing his heartfelt gratitude to the donors, Imam El Hadj Haroun KONÉ noted that the donation would bring relief to many. “We thank  PAA and its Managing Director for this noble initiative, which is not the first of its kind,” he said.
