FRENCH MILITARY SHIPS MAKE A STOPOVER AT ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY

Abidjan Port Authority, one of West Africa’s major maritime ports, regularly receives military vessels as part of official visits, humanitarian missions, or military cooperation exercises.

In this context, two vessels of the French Navy docked at Abidjan Port Authority on Sunday, March 9, 2025, for a several-day stopover.

The ship commanders, Captain Arnaud BOLLELI and Commander Xavier BRIGNOLI, accompanied by liaison officers, paid a courtesy visit to Abidjan Port Authority on Monday, March 10, 2025.

These senior officers of the French Navy indicated that the presence of these ships in Abidjan Port Authority is part of ongoing military cooperation activities between Côte d'Ivoire and France.
