KENYA NATIONAL DEFENCE COLLEGE STUDENTS VISIT ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY

As part of a study and research trip, a delegation of learners from Kenya’s National Defence College, led by Colonel Peter KARIGIH, was received on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, by the Managing Director of Abidjan Port Authority, Mr. Hien Yacouba SIÉ.

This visit, part of the cooperation between the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire and the Republic of Kenya, aimed, according to the head of the Kenyan delegation, to allow the military students to discover Abidjan Port Authority’s facilities, learn about its impact on the national and regional economy, and understand how the Port Authority manages security operations.

Following a general presentation of Abidjan Port Authority, the visitors engaged in discussions with the Managing Director, who addressed their various areas of interest.

At the end of this meeting, which was highly appreciated by the Kenyan delegation, Mr. Hien SIÉ expressed his gratitude for choosing Abidjan Port Authority and wished them a pleasant stay in Côte d’Ivoire.
