THE PORT OF ABIDJAN WELCOMES THE CRUISE SHIP “MS SIRENA”

The Port of Abidjan confirms its status as a key destination for international cruise tourism. Just days after the call of the luxury MV Seven Seas Navigator, the port platform welcomed another exceptional cruise ship on November 20, 2025: the “MS Sirena”, arriving from Banjul, The Gambia.

Measuring 181 meters in length, 26 meters in width, with a draft of 6.5 meters, the MS Sirena docked with 271 passengers ready to live the Ivorian experience. Their stopover offered an opportunity to discover two emblematic sites of the country: Grand-Bassam, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Bingerville, a historic city rich in cultural heritage.

With this new arrival, the Port of Abidjan strengthens its positioning on the global cruise market and demonstrates its capacity to provide a secure, smooth and attractive port experience. Each port call contributes to boosting national tourism, supporting the local economy and enhancing Abidjan’s image as a regional capital open to the world.

The Port of Abidjan thus continues to pursue its ambition of becoming one of the most welcoming cruise hubs in West Africa for shipping companies and international travelers.
