RUSSIAN ECONOMIC OPERATORS WISHING TO SET UP THEIR BUSINESS IN ABIDJAN PORT

On 30 March 2017, Mr. Hien Yacouba SIE, Managing Director, Abidjan Port Authority (PAA) granted an audience to a delegation of Russian businessmen operating in the oil industry and in the farming supply (phos Agro Company). The delegation was led by Mr. Pangueba Fogli, Managing Director of SOPAM Group. Plc. This canvassing mission in Abidjan Port is part of the strengthening of cooperation between the Russian cooperation and Abidjan Port Authority, precisely through the procurement of land space for the construction of ware houses (for the storage of 50000 tons of cargo) with the purpose of increasing their activities in the West African sub region Mr Hien Yacouba SIE who was pleased with the choice of Abidjan Port by the Russian economic operators reminded his guests of the backfilling projects which was started few years earlier and made it possible to develop and make available new industrial plots. Moreover, he undertook to back them up in their different steps and urged them to formally apply for the outlying plots of land
