The laying of the foundation stone for the construction works of houses for Abidjan Port Authority’s workers took place on Thursday 18 February 2016.

Mr GAOUSSOU TOURE, Minister of transports, sponsor of the ceremony, was delighted with the initiative taken by Mr Hien Yacouba SIE, Managing Director, Abidjan Port Authority as this real estate development project is in line with the property ownership policy conducted by the Ivorian Government.

Mr SIE Hien Yacouba which was also pleased with the outcome of the project, many times postponed, declared that:

“Through this project the Port is willing to accompany the State in facilitating housing purchase by workers on unbeatable terms and quality / cost ratio”

 Let’s remind that this project which is part of the implementation of the Port Authority‘s social policy aims at guaranteeing each port workers the access to land and property ownership, improving the standard  of living of the port workers and at enabling them to have a decent lifestyle.
