ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY PROVIDES SUPPORT TO AL MUWASSAT NGO ON THE OCCASION OF THE MONTH OF RAMADAN

On Monday 18 March 2024, ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY (PAA) reaffirmed its commitment to the Muslim Community through its traditional donation to AL-Muwassat NGO on the occasion of the month of Ramadan. This initiative of the Port Authority was aimed at providing assistance to this civil organization which has been endeavouring to provide medical, spiritual and moral support to poor in-patients.

The donation, consisted in 5 tons of rice, 50 boxes of sugar and 30 boxes of milk,was delivered by Mr TOURE Zoumana, the Estate Director representing Mr Hien Yacoubra SIE PAA's Managing Director.

El Hadj Haroun KONE, President of the NGO and also the Leading Imam of CHU de Treichville's Mosque expressed his deep gratitude to the Abidjan Port Authority for its continuous support.

AL-Muwassat NGO which was established on 22 September 2010 has set itself the mission to fight against the spread of Hiv/Aids and other pandemics, poverty in hospitals and maternal and infant mortality. Its actions are also aimed at child protection.
