THE ACTORS IN THE FIELD OF PORT SECURITY AND SAFETY WISHED A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO THE PORT AUTHORITY

On Monday 22 January 2024,Mr Hien Yacouba SIE ,Managing Director of Abidjan Port Authority received a delegation of actors in the field of port security and safety.

Colonel COFFI YAO Emmanuel was the Head of the delegation which came to present its compliments and wish a happy new year to the Top Executive of Abidjan Port.

On behalf of the delegation,the Port’s Harbour Master reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a safe and secured operating environment on the whole port platform.

For his part,the Managing Director,delighted with their visit saluted their commitment and dedication. He encouraged them to continue their actions contributing  to the competitiveness of the port, before reassuring of his constant support with respect to reaching their intended objectives.

This visit was also attended by Lieutnant Colonel COULIBALY GON Lacina,Commander of the Port Security Group of the National Gendarmerie,by the Abidjan Port Special Police Commissioner, Mr MEITE Abdoul and Mrs DEMBELE epse BAMBA Patricia Commissioner of the Unit in charge of the Fight Against Narcotics and by Lieutenant KONE Ramada responsible for the Investigation Unit of the National Police.

Let’s recall that ,thanks to the efforts of the port Authority,backed by the combined actions of the security and safety actors,Abidjan Port was certified ISPS code compliant ( International Ship and Port Facility Security Code) since July 2004
