ANOTHER LARGE CONTAINER SHIP DOCKED AT ABIDJAN PORT

On Saturday 1 May 2021, almost one month ago after the arrival of MSC « MELISSA » the first container ship over 300 m long, it was the turn of CONTI EVEREST another MSC container ship, 334.07 m long and 42.8 m wide, with 16 m draught and a loading capacity of 8714 TEUs.
With the call of the second large container ship, the Abidjan Port confirms its capacity to handle now new generation vessels without length limits
After a visit aboard the ship, Mr Fabio POLITI, Director General of MSC Côte d’ivoire and Mrs Asta Rosa CISSE, Director General of Abidjan Terminal welcomed this event and were delight at the thought of seeing the arrival, in the near future, of even larger ships.
