The Managing Director of the Abidjan Port Authority (PAA), Mr. Kassoum TRAORE, served as patron of the book signing ceremony for “Les Géants sont tombés – Pourquoi les meilleurs leaders s’effondrent et comment ne pas être le prochain ?” by KANGAH Ahizi Richard, Assistant to the Director in charge of the Information Systems Security Unit, with the rank of Department Head, at the PAA Division of Control, Audit and Quality.

Held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, on the 6th floor of the new Headquarters of the Abidjan Port Authority, the ceremony brought together members of the Management Committee, family members, colleagues and several guests to celebrate this work devoted to leadership and governance.

By agreeing to serve as patron of the ceremony, the Managing Director welcomed the author’s initiative and emphasized the importance of promoting reflection, knowledge and a culture of learning within the Abidjan Port Authority.

This gesture reflects his commitment to fostering reading, personal development and capacity building among staff.

In his remarks, Mr. KANGAH Ahizi Richard expressed his deep gratitude to the Managing Director, patron of the ceremony, for his support and confidence. He particularly thanked him for his commitment to promoting knowledge and reading.

Beyond the book signing itself, the ceremony illustrated the Top Management’s determination to foster a corporate culture grounded in knowledge and the development of talent.

An initiative which confirms that human capital remains the Abidjan Port Authority’s greatest asset.
