BUSINESS MANAGERS FROM ‘‘LA REGION DE LA LOIRE’’ VISITED ABIDJAN PORT

A delegation of French business managers from “la Region de la Loire”, led by Mr. Richard THIRIET, Regional Councilor Delegate for Industry, was received on Wednesday 16 March2022 by Mr. Hien Yacouba SIÉ, Managing Director of Abidjan Port Authority (PAA).

This French region which host ‘‘Le Grand Port Maritime de Nantes-Saint-Nazaire’’ came to Côte d’Ivoire as part of a canvassing for business. The visit to Abidjan was aimed at identifying investment opportunities.

During the exchanges, Mr. Hien Yacouba SIÉ expressed his satisfaction to see that the Port of Abidjan is of significance to’’ La Region de la Loire’’ and stressed his willingness to examine the proposals which could be submitted by the business managers with a view to establishing a future partnership.

Let’s note that the meeting provided a framework for the signing of a training partnership in maritime studies between Institutt National Polytechnique Felix Houphouët Boigny (INPHB) represented by Mr. Kader DIABY, Director General, and Nantes University represented by Mr. Franck SCHOEFS, director.
