CALLING OF A CRUISE SHIP AT ABIDJAN PORT
On Monday 05 December 2022, M/S ZAANDAM, a cruise ships has called for a few hours at Abidjan port
This 9 story ship, 237.195 m in length and 32.24 m in width originating from Takoradi, GHANA after having boarded recreational sailors in the United States, made a stop in Abidjan Port so as to allow the passengers to discover some touristics treasures
Some of the recreational sailors went to Plateau District to visit the Ivorian Museum of Civilizations, to Villa Kiyi in cocody to watch an African dance performance; others headed towards the historical touristic and seaside town of Grand-Bassam, then to the pretty town of Bonoua for a tour of large pineapple farms.
Let’s note that the ship had on its board 1666 people including 1080 recreational sailors and 586 crew members.
After the step of Abidjan, the M/S ZAANDAM set the course to Dakar in Senegal.
