A DELEGATION FROM THE GRANDS MOULINS D'ABIDJAN (GMA) TO THE ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY

Within the framework of the reinforcement of its cooperation with the Abidjan Port Authority, a delegation of the American Group SEABOARD CORPORATION, owner of the Grands Moulins d'Abidjan met on Thursday 19 January 2023, the Managing Director of the Abidjan Port Authority (PAA), Mr. Hien Yacouba SIÉ.

Seizing the opportunity of his presence in Côte d'Ivoire, Mr. Greg STOUGH, Chief and Executive Officer of this flour milling group said he had come to pay his respects and present his wishes to the Port Authority. He was accompanied by his General Manager for Côte d'Ivoire, Mr. Marc ALEXY.

This meeting allowed both parties to review the commercial activities of the group at the Abidjan Port and to discuss the cooperation between them. To this effect, Mr. Greg STOUGH indicated that his group is committed to continuing and increasing its activities at the Abidjan Port.

The Managing Director, Mr. Hien Yacouba SIÉ reassured of the availability of his institution to work to effectively accompany the operators working on the port platform through the implementation of projects adapted to their needs, including the ongoing construction of a grain terminal that will be beneficial to millers.

It should be recalled that the SEABOARD CORPORATION Group, leader in flour milling in the English-speaking African markets, has bought the assets of the MIMRAN Group, which previously owned the Grands Moulins d'Abidjan.
