The military cooperation between the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire and the Féderal Republic of Nigeria further strengthened.

In fact ,a large delegation of military executives and senior officers of the 1/2023 class of the senior leaderships and staff officers course (NACOLM) carried out a study and research mission in Cote d’Ivoire from 21to 26 May 2023 on the theme ¨ Multilateral Cooperation : A requirement for regional security¨

 On the initiative of the Minister of State,Minister of defense of Côte  d’Ivoire , the Abidjan Port Authority welcomed .the delegation on Monday 22 Mays 2023

On that occasion, the head of the Nigerian mission,Mr AJ.ALIYU,General of Brigade Deputy Commander of NACOLM stated that this mission which is part of the training of senior officiers was intended to take the Ivorian model in regard of security and economic development According to him,it was  important to make a stop over at Abidjan Port, a major pillar of sub-regional economies in order to get acquainted with its functioning and particulary its model relating to security.

On behalf of the Managing Director of Abidjan Port Authority Colonel Coffi Yao Emmanuel, Harbour Master of Abidjan Port welcome the visit which is not the first one of its kind.He also expressed the willingness of Abidjan Port Authority to accompany all the cooperation initiatives among the states of the  sub –region, so as to be able to address security challenges .
