A DELEGATION FROM THE UNITED STATES EMBASSY RECEIVED AT THE ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY

A delegation from the Embassy of the United States of America in Côte d’Ivoire, led by Ms. Stéphanie GOBER, Administrator of the Technical Assistance for Bankable Infrastructure (TABI) Program at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), was received on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at the Abidjan Port Authority.

The meeting was attended by Colonel COFFI Emmanuel, Director of Maritime Operations, Security and Environment; Dr. Titi PALÉ, Director of Commercial, Marketing and Communication; and Mr. MONI N’Guessan Hyacinthe, Director of Infrastructure and Project Management.

The discussions focused on the objectives of the TABI program, particularly the strengthening of infrastructure project attractiveness for financial institutions, as well as the promotion of innovative and sustainable solutions that foster economic growth and the development of local capacities. Within this framework, several structuring projects of the Abidjan Port were examined, particularly those relating to improving access to the port platform, easing traffic flow and strengthening logistics competitiveness.

This meeting, which forms part of the partnership dynamic between Côte d’Ivoire and the United States, reflects the willingness of the Abidjan Port Authority to engage in structuring international initiatives in favor of modern, sustainable and high-performance port infrastructures.
