THE FÉDÉRATION NATIONALE DES ACTEURS DU COMMERCE DE CÔTE D'IVOIRE DISCOVERS ABIDJAN TERMINAL'S FACILITIES

Abidjan Terminal, concession holder of the 1st container terminal at the Abidjan Port, welcomed on its facilities, on Thursday 06 June 2024, a delegation from the Fédération nationale des acteurs du commerce de Côte d'Ivoire (FENACCI) led by Mr. Farikou SOUMAHORO, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The visit followed the signing of a partnership agreement between the Ports section of the FENACCI National Council and Abidjan Terminal on 10 March 2024. The agreement aimed to create a collaborative framework between the two parties with a view to making available to trade players with all the information they need to ensure the smooth running of their operations on that platform.

On the occasion, the Managing Director of the Abidjan Port Authority (PAA) was represented by Mr. TOURÉ Zoumana, Director of Property and Assets. He was joined by Mrs. Asta Rosa CISSÉ, General Manager of Abidjan Terminal, Mr. Issoufou SIDIBÉ, Director General of the Office Ivoirien des Chargeurs (OIC) and a number of other players from the Abidjan Port.

In his address, Mr. TOURÉ Zoumana congratulated both parties on that initiative, which would facilitate the operations of FENACCI members at the terminal. He also reassured the federation of the ambition of the Port Authority and its partners to provide the Abidjan Port with operating tools tailored to the needs of shippers. 

The exchanges were followed  by a guided tour of Abidjan Terminal’s facilities.
