FEMUA: THE PAA, PARTNER OF THE 15th EDITION
The 15th edition of the Anoumabo Urban Music Festival (FEMUA)
opened its doors yesterday, Tuesday 25 April 2023, at the main square of Anoumabo (Marcory), in the presence of several members of the government, including the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Diaspora, Mrs. Kandia CAMARA; the Minister of State, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Kobenan Kouassi ADJOUMANI; the Minister of Culture and Francophonie, Mrs. Françoise REMARCK, and the presidents of institutions including Mr. Adama BICTOGO and Mr. Aka AOUÉLÉ, respectively President of the National Assembly and President of the Economic, Social, Environmental and Cultural Council, and several personalities.
The Abidjan Port Authority was also present at the launch as a traditional partner of this social event.
Placed under the theme, "Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture," this edition has as a special guest, the Republic of Togo whose many delegations traveled to Abidjan for the occasion.
Mr. TRAORÉ Salif, known as A'Salfo, lead vocalist of the group Magic System, and General Commissioner of this festival, thanked the President of the Republic, HEM. Alassane OUATTARA for having agreed to integrate the FEMUA in the budgetary lines of the State.
The festival will take place from 25 to 30 April 2023, in Abidjan and Bouaké, with the performance of a dozen Ivorian and foreign artists.
It should be noted that the Abidjan Port Authority, as a corporate citizen, has been a partner of this socio-cultural event for over a
decade.
