A FLEMISH DELEGATION ON VISIT IN THE ABIDJAN PORT

A Flemish delegation of about thirty members headed by his Excellency Mr.Ben WEYTS, Belgian Minister of Mobility and Public Works paid a working and cooperation visit to Abidjan Port Authority on Friday 02nd September 2016.

Led by Mr Gaoussou TOURE, Ivorian Minister of Transport, the Belgian delegation was received by Mr.Hien Yacouba SIE, Managing Director of Abidjan Port Authority. After having expressed his honour to receive the guests of the day, the Managing Director said he was thankful for the growing exchanges between Belgium and Cote d’Ivoire.

As for his Excellency Mr Ben WEYTS, he reaffirmed the willingness of his country to consolidate its cooperation, business and partnership connections with Cote d’Ivoire, and more particularly with Abidjan Port Authority.

It is worth reminding that the Managing Directors of Four (04) Flemish Ports such as Antwerp Port, Ghent Port, and Bruges and Ostende Ports were part of the delegation.

A boat tour on the lagoon enabled the hosts of the day to visit the Abidjan Port facilities
