Graduation Ceremony of the 4th Class of UNCTAD Train For Trade Program

After more than two years of training (September 2019 – January 2022) as a result of Covid-19 pandemic, the Abidjan Port Authority 4th class of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) “Train for Trade” program, received their training completion certificates on 26 January 2022, in the premises of the PAA headquarters.

The ceremony which was intended sober as to pay tribute to the late sponsor of the fourth class, Mrs. OkOU COULIBALY Djénéba GON, ex DGM of PAA, was held under the presidency of the Port Authority represented by Mrs. MEITE Salimata FOFANA, Human Resources Director of PAA and local program coordinator, and of Mrs. Dominique ChANTREL, coordinator of French speaking network and experts from Cameroon, Gabon, Senegal and Togo ports to assess the graduation work of recipients.

Besides, the 5th class was launched to perpetuate this initiative of sharing experiences and expertise between the workers of the French speaking ports as part of that UN program.
