THE IMGS GROUP ON A PROSPECTING VISIT TO THE ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY
The leading provider of professional bulk goods handling solutions, IMGS Group, made a prospecting visit to the Abidjan Port Authority (PAA) on Wednesday 15 May 2024. The delegation, led by Mr. Shahbaz ALIKHAN, director of the group, was received by his counterpart from the PAA, Mr. Hien Yacouba SIÉ.
During the meeting, Mr. Shahbaz ALIKHAN explained the reasons for the group's visit, which was to present to the Port Authority their areas of expertise, and to learn about the functioning of the Abidjan Port, with a view to identifying potential partnership opportunities. He also talked about various projects undertaken by his group in African ports and around the world.
Mr. Hien Yacouba SIÉ, while expressing his satisfaction for the IMGS’s interest in the Abidjan Port, described to the delegation the new infrastructure built over the past decade. At the end of the meeting, the two parties agreed to continue discussions with a view to establishing future cooperation for the development of the Abidjan Port and the development of the Ivorian economy.
